While the Oilers make it to game 7 in the second round, Edmonton is bursting with excitement. Everywhere you go you see Business' supporting the Oilers. Not JUST a hockey team, it's a community coming together in support for a team who has struggled to make it to the playoffs in years! We take every game with pride!
Everywhere I go I see these flags, big or small, they are everywhere. Not only the pride for oilers, but a huge sense of community in this city right now. Everyone is smiling. Everyone at Tuber is anxious for tomorrow night's Game 7!
With every game something has to come of it. Many people blame the Ref's for some BS calls, I myself can't argue. Whether it's a win or a lose, the community always seems to have something to lean on through some comedic relief.
This weeks shout out goes to Capilano Eye Centre (Optometrists' Clinic Inc.) for their creativity offering free eye exams to NHL Refs!
Even in a loss, it's a way to make everyone smile. A little laughter never hurt anyone.
The refs could've done better, but they could've done worse. Oilers still have a chance to bring it back and take us to game 7 with a win at home! LETS GO OILERS!
Operating with our eyes wide open we want to be there when you're in need. Tuber Towing was built by a couple of individuals who have a strong pride with community involvement and are proud of what we do.
However, boasting about ourselves in a Blog is far from our intent. In this blog you will find details on events and business' in the Edmonton region who share our beliefs. Those who benefit the community and those who make a difference in our world.
Stay tuned for little tid bits, not timbits, though we also enjoy donut holes, about things happening in and around Edmonton. We are here for culture and community! This summer is full of great events that bring us together. Let's enjoy it!
A great time for a great cause. Do you love cycling? How about spending time with friends? Put the two together for a weekend of Riding, filled with events and support before, during and after the ride!
Last year over 2000 cyclists attended as they took to the open road cycling almost 200 KM over two days to raise money to find a cure for MS. This extraordinary ride through rural Alberta is well prepared with rest stops along the way, provided meals and even live entertainment.
Tuber Towing's own Jessie, Taylor and Matt have committed years of supporting the tour operating SAG (Support and Gear Trucks) throughout the tour.
If you are curious about it, feel free to give us a call and we can point you in the right direction or even provide some insight on what's involved in the tour!
